How many guests can you accommodate?
Up to 140 seated and 180 for evening reception.
(A surcharge will be applied for bookings of less than 80 people)
If required up to 240 seated and 280 for evening reception
(By special arrangement only)
Can you accommodate a band?
We can accommodate a 3 piece band.
What time can we start and finish our Reception?
From 12pm to 12 am
Evening reception usually starts at 7pm to 12am
From what time can we occupy the event venue for preparation etc?
Generally from 11am on the morning of the event. This depends however on the
calendar of events surrounding your day. Room preparation is carried out by our events
team and most guests feel no need to have access to the room prior to the wedding
ceremony.
Where do guests go if they arrive early?
Your quests are more than welcome to use all bar and seating areas
within the Vu.
I would like a special dish on my menu that you do not
offer can you provide this?
Yes. Any special dietary requirements or dishes can be accommodated
by prior arrangement with our events team.
Can we mix items from your various menus to create our
own menu?
Yes. This will be priced accordingly by our events team.
Can I try out a selection of menus and wines before,
committing to a selection?
Yes. We suggest that you arrange a tasting dinner in our main restaurant.
By prior arrangement we can have a selection of menus available for you
to eat for dinner and you can sample our wine selection at the same time.
Are flowers included in my package?
Yes. We will provide a sample selection of flower arrangements for the top table and
elsewhere if required.
Can you recommend florists and photographers etc.
We can supply a contact list.
Do you have hairdressers and beauticians within theVu?
Unfortunately we do not but please asked our sales manager for recommendations.
Are there any recommended locations for photography nearby?
You will have use of grounds and waters edge at the Vu.
